What’s your favorite CrossFit movement, and why?

Burpees & Anything shoulder to overhead. Burpees because anyone can do, you don’t need any equipment, it gets your heart rate up, add it to any workout, and it will give some spice!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Tacos!!! Being Salvadorian, I grew up having tortillas for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not necessarily eating tacos but having tortillas with every meal. A taco you can pair it with an protein on a corn tortilla with some cilantro, onions, and green salsa, you’re set for life!

What was the most challenging part of your fitness journey?

Looking back, I think the hardest part was not giving myself enough credit for the progress I was making. I would focus so much on what I hadn’t achieved yet—how far I still had to go—that I completely overlooked how far I’d already come. Even when I hit big PRs like getting a muscle up, lifting heavier, or staying consistent with my nutrition, I’d downplay them or think it wasn’t good enough. With the help of the coaches, this community, and my loved ones, they helped me celebrate those wins, no matter how small they seemed at the time.

"m.A.A.d city" - Kendrick Lamar (I can listen to anything from Kendrick Lamar)
